cartoon071626.jpg?ve=1&tl=1&profile=RESIZE_400xFormer President Joe Biden announced his upcoming memoir this week, but the rollout quickly turned into another round of public ridicule over his fitness and authenticity.

Titled *Promise Me, America*, the book promises to detail his presidency, the "agonizing" decision to drop out of the 2024 race, and key moments like rebuilding the economy and supporting Ukraine.

OMG!  How did he write his own book? Does he use an autopen for his entire book?

Social media lit up with sharp commentary. "This guy couldn't even sign his own name. He's not writing books. LMAO," posted former reality TV star Spencer Pratt. Outkick founder Clay Travis added, "Joe Biden couldn’t sign his own pardons. Now he’s ‘written’ a book... Who in the world is buying this book?" Others, including Rep. Jason Smith and conservative voices like Steve Guest, questioned who actually authored it: "The first lie of Joe Biden’s book launch: ‘I’ve written a book.’" Many replies featured images of the autopen device that replaced Biden's portrait in the Presidential Walk of Fame.

The skepticism stems from Biden's documented heavy use of the autopen—a mechanical device that replicates signatures—throughout his term. While presidents have used such tools for decades, concerns about Biden's cognitive health amplified doubts about whether he personally reviewed or approved the high-stakes documents bearing his name, including pardons and executive orders.

With the memoir slated for release on November 17, shortly after the midterms, the launch has reignited debates not just about authorship but about transparency during his time in office.

In an era of ghostwriters and political memoirs, Biden's effort stands out less for its content and more for the enduring questions it revives: If he needed help signing his name, who was really behind the promises?

What is your reaction? Are you buying the book writing narrative at face value?

  • The one who shook hands with the curtain? That Joe? The sniffer? The "shower-er with his daughter? That one?

    • Yup! That one! He 'wrote' his memoirs but can't even sign his own name as a autograph! I think he was the same way when 'running' the counrty.

    • IMHO biteme was not "running" the country - he was RUINING it, with lots of help from "wifey", fraudbama and numerous others.

    • Yup! It was a Biden-Scam! He didn't even show up for the election, he hid in his basement. Then he became the most powerful man in the world? YIKES!
