🚨BREAKING NEWS🚨ASK THE LUNCH LADY?” ARE YOU KIDDING ME, KATHY HOCHUL… So now we’re using three Black cafeteria workers as political PROPS or window dressing while Black children are struggling to meet basic academic proficiency standards? Props. HOW INSULTING CAN THIS GET? Let me make something abundantly clear. Those women deserve respect. They work hard, and their contributions matter. But using their presence to deflect attention from the academic outcomes of Black children is an absolute insult to the intelligence of Black families! New York spends more per public school student than any other state in America, and in 2025, approximately 57% of Black students tested in grades 3 through 8 in New York City failed to demonstrate mathematics proficiency! And you want me to ASK THE LUNCH LADY? NO! I WANT TO ASK THE PEOPLE RUNNING THIS EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM! I want to ask why taxpayers are spending nearly $36,000 per student in New York City while these appalling academic disparities persist! I want to ask why political theater seems easier to produce than a detailed explanation of educational outcomes! And I’m sick of seeing Black faces placed in front of cameras as though their presence somehow absolves government officials of accountability! BLACK PEOPLE ARE NOT POLITICAL PROPS! Share this story BLACK CHILDREN ARE NOT PUBLIC RELATIONS EXPERIMENTS! AND CAFETERIA WORKERS ARE NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR EDUCATIONAL ACCOUNTABILITY! Cathy, you can keep your carefully choreographed presentation. I’m bringing the numbers. And the juxtaposition between what New Yorkers spend and what too many Black children are academically achieving demands answers! @StefanMychajliw @RealDonKeith @mrddmia #AStoneGroove #SilentMajoritySpeaks
