America means I can raise a family that does not fear the government, but is taught instead that the government must fear us — the people. It means I can own a firearm and the ammunition for it, speak my mind openly, and worship God as I please. I can own a home and call it my castle, vote for the candidate of my choice, and pray in public for them to win.
I can drive any pickup truck I want — foreign or domestic — and enjoy as much or as little beer as I choose. I am free to criticize my government when it deserves it, and to sing “God Bless America” with genuine pride. I can wave the flag I love, honor our military, and celebrate the greatness woven into our heritage.
Those who see only America’s faults deny the profound blessings and strength of our shared history. Most of all, I am free to write these words — and this blog — without fear of retribution.
I love America and always will.
It is a country for freedom and individualism and I am more then blessed to be born here. We aren't a perfect Nation but we are a Noble one and always try our best to right our wrongs.And we must keep GOD as the head the foundation of our lives and country. ONE NATION UNDER GOD.

Freedoms: of Speech, to practice our Religions and others. I'm of Cajun lineage with ancestors from France who had settled in Canada decided to make the long trek down here to Louisiana. So proud of that heritage too. Wouldn't want to live anywhere else with my family!
My ancestors on my dad's side came over and landed at Jamestown. My ancestors on my moms side came over and landed in Savannah... on my mom's dads sides they escaped political persecution during the Cromwell uprising and made his home near Charleston SC.
My parents always taught me to love God, Family and country. And I do, in that order.
I can't compare our country to other countries, as I have never been outside the continental U.S.A. But after seeing our Europeans visitors here for the World Cup has given me pride in this country to confirm that WE DO Live in THE BEST country in the world.
In 2010 I had a chance to travel this great land of ours and see the 'purple mountains majesty' (upper Arizona, Utah, Colorada), the prairies of Nebraska. The people from all different states, their love of this land of ours to keep her free.
I have see the beautiful oceans - Maine, Virginia, Georgia, Florida and the Gulf of America.
We are truly fortunate and blessed to live in such prosperous and Free land.
It is incumbant on us to keep our heritage free forever! We must work hard to do that... but if I know the people of America - they will not let her fail...
One of my favorite songs is "Oh, America' Celtic Women - Here are the words:

That is how I feel and what America means to me!!
I also remember the Bicenntenial. My mom and dad worked for my uncle at the time and they made the wool red and blue coats, canvas pants, spats ( worn around the shoes during that time ) and the tri corner colonial hats (amish hats made in to the tricorner). THAT was when I think I fell in love with America. In school, 5th grade at the time, we spent the whole year studying the Revolutionary War, The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. EVERYTHING we did in school was centered around that.. it was awesome.
My America the Beautiful. Sweet Land of Liberty of Thee I sing. Formed and shaped by people more worthy than I, stronger than I. I have heroes in my bloodlines. Some gave all and all gave some. The Spirit of Resilience, Character. Sacrifice. Honor. We are to protect and defend principles of True Liberty. Liberty cannot exist without character and literacy among her people. Almighty God has woken us up so that she may walk with Him again. She is to be His light to the nations. A sheep nation. One of 153 Sheep nations. Clothed in White. Evangelist to the World, our destiny. Freedom bells ringing. We have come close to ruin. God has let us see that---So that we can witness the saving of this nation. It is a parallel to the Red Sea. The walls of water themselves, rose as resistance---and the people walked through. The resistance has risen and we will walk through to the other side. The world cannot be saved without us. It is our Prophetic destiny and everything is pointing and rising to this moment.
My family’s roots trace back to 1311 in Germany, where we lived for centuries. But the call of freedom in America grew too strong to ignore. We escaped just in time, narrowly avoiding the horrors of the camps. Though many of our family members had served as high-ranking officers in the German military, they could no longer remain in a nation that had turned its back on God and begun persecuting His children.
Those family members who stayed behind never tasted freedom again.
We left behind our estate, our titles, and our former status, arriving in America with nothing but the clothes on our backs. We came to build a new life as free men and women.
Opportunity in this new land had to be cultivated, earned, and stewarded with responsibility. I was born seventy-five years ago, as President Truman’s term was ending and a war-torn world was beginning to rebuild. The struggle to establish a life ran deep in our family, and hard work became our daily rhythm.
Thanks to the blessings of liberty, I had the chance to attend Liberty University, becoming the first college graduate in our family since arriving in America. I went on to earn my Juris Doctorate from Trinity Law School and joined the International Bar Association.
Because of freedom, our family was able to enjoy the full blessings of liberty.
Little did I know that this journey would one day allow me to speak before the United States Senate, volunteer to help guard our nation’s borders, travel with members of Congress, co-found the Tea Party movement, write books, and establish the Patriot Command Center — now home to more than 48,000 patriotic members.
All of this was possible because liberty and freedom create the pathway for accomplishment through perseverance and hard work. Nowhere else in the world can such an opportunity be found.
I am deeply grateful to Almighty God for giving my family the chance to come to this land and live as free people.
We are truly blessed; America IS our "everything" and all of US must do everthing in our beings to "defend and keep her"!
