A Smithsonian director found herself in a pickle while testifying before Congress on Tuesday when Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX) asked her "is it important to be polite?"
When Anthea Hartig — the director of the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History — answered "Yes, sir," Gill immediately pointed out her museum published a document linking politeness to white supremacy.
"It's also interesting because the same Mass Action Toolkit that your organization has been promoting references politeness as a defining characteristic of 'White Supremacy Culture,' Gill said. "M'am, are you a white supremacist?"
"Hmmm, no, sir," Hartig said.
"You're not. Can you help me square why your organization says that being polite is being part of being a white supremacist?" Gill followed up.
"I'm not exactly familiar with that passage of the Mass Action Toolkit," Hartig said.
Gill said he could share the document with her before deciding to move on.
The document he referenced included a graphic dubbed "Aspects & Assumptions of Whiteness & White Culture in the United States." The graphic listed a number of attributes and beliefs it argued were tied to "white dominant culture," including the need to "be polite."
Other beliefs which signal white supremacy included "hard work is the key to success," the nuclear family with a wife and 2-3 kids is the "ideal social unit," and a "woman's beauty is based on blonde, thin — 'Barbie' [prototype]," according to the graphic.
An interest in the British Empire and a belief in "objective, rational linear thinking" were two other signs you might be a white supremacist.
Newsweek first reported the document in 2021; it was published in 2020, a year after Hartig's tenure as a director started.

I value this ---all I want and need to see---is for Justice to rise up in the gates and for tresspassers, criminals and traitors to be burned at the stake. One way and the other. Whether they are of this or that does not matter. Justice. Justice alone will do it's mighty work.
Sometimes things just need to happen. Again. Our Founders built this land. We must rebuild upon the foundation that they laid. Then layer by layer, brick by brick. Rebuild.
There is nothing superficial about this, the damage done, or the steps to rebuild. The Foundation always comes first. There must be mortar between the bricks. Good mortar. By Craftsmen. Only fine craftsmen can build beautiful structures. The substance matters.The bricks matter. The mortar matters. Like Honor matters. The timing matters. Weight upon weight. Solid Rock. Solid foundation. Window dressing cannot do the job. Top down is not bottom up.
The agencies are murderers. And globalists. The media are communists and anarchists. The teachers are sick in the spirit and minds. The parents are fools. The courts are jackasses in robes. Unworthy of passing even a high school Superior English class. 4 amendments need to be trashed. Agency after agency must be trashed.
This country was not meant to be a corporation. Congress was not meant to serve themselves, their pocketbooks, their stock holdings---or any other country, no matter what country.
America.1st. 2nd. 3rd. There is no 4th. Voting should be a simple honest and honorable thing and instead it rips the country apart. Fraud. Crime. Greed. Hatred. Cheat. Cheat. Cheat. That's how bad it is. A pack of wolves has been at the door. In the door and in the kitchen.

Somehow, believe I AM; if not supremacist, then just very "opinionated" - 🤣🤣🤣, IDC - - call me whatever! Still pray every chance I get, salute our flag when it's presented, hold the door for anyone less able than me; and still do not fully appreciate all the advantages we have, but I'm "workin" on it!!
