Thou Shall Not Pray! Thou Shall Not Read The Bible! The state of tolerance and liberal rights have gone to war with home prayer meetings; this time, it was a Jewish gathering of a handful of friends.
Get this: Irvine’s Fines Against a Jewish Rabbi Signal Trouble for Christian Gatherings Too.
In a disturbing display of government overreach, the City of Irvine, California, has been fining an Orthodox Jewish rabbi thousands of dollars simply for hosting private prayer meetings, Torah study, and religious meals in his own home.
Rabbi Rafi Dadon’s gatherings are small, by invitation only, and deeply rooted in his faith. Yet since August 2025, the city has hit him with approximately $5,000 in fines, initially labeling the activities as unauthorized “church” operations requiring special permits, then shifting to claims of improper “accessory use” and even “commercial activity.”
Allowed:
Approved - Gather with your buddies for beer drinking and football watching
Approved – Gay sex sessions with multiple participants
Approved – Pet owners meetups
Approved – Block Captions meetings
Approved – Adult in-home porn clubs
Outlawed:
Illegal – Bible reading and prayer
The in-home prayer meetings are not large public events but the very essence of lived faith — passing down tradition, building community, and seeking God together in the most personal of settings. Government intrusion here strikes at the heart of the American experiment in ordered liberty.
This flip-flopping rationale has raised serious red flags. Attorneys from the First Liberty Institute and Sullivan & Cromwell LLP argue in a June 12, 2026, demand letter that the enforcement appears pretextual — aimed not at legitimate zoning concerns but at suppressing protected religious exercise. They contend it violates the First Amendment’s Free Exercise Clause, the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act (RLUIPA), and even the Fair Housing Act.
“Shocking and Anti-American,” said Retired Attorney Steve Eichler, “City of Irvine officials have imposed fines on a limited number of Jewish residents who congregate for worship, prayer, and religious observances. If that is not against their 1st amendment rights, then we no longer have a constitution"
For Christians, this should sound the alarm. Home Bible studies, small group prayer meetings, and house fellowships form the backbone of countless independent and evangelical congregations. These intimate gatherings need no grand buildings — just faithful believers opening their living rooms to Scripture and prayer. Yet local governments have repeatedly tried to regulate or fine such activities under zoning, parking, or “assembly” pretexts.
Similar efforts have targeted families for weekly home Bible studies in California and elsewhere.
The danger lies in the incremental approach. Today, it is an Orthodox Jewish rabbi in Irvine whose Shabbat table draws a handful of friends. Tomorrow, under similar excuses of traffic, noise, or reclassifying a home as a “place of worship,” it could be a Christian family anywhere in America whose living room fellowship attracts neighbors each week. RLUIPA exists precisely to block such discriminatory burdens on religious exercise, whether in synagogues or living rooms.
Religious liberty is not a zero-sum game between faiths. Standing up for the right of Jews to pray and study in their homes without government permission directly reinforces the same protections for Christians and all believers. When officials demand permits for what the Constitution shields as private religious exercise, every person of faith has reason to take notice.
History teaches a clear lesson: silence when one community’s rights are attacked leaves everyone more vulnerable when the same tactics expand. The time to stand together for the freedom to gather and pray in our homes is now.

As I said - "reinstate insane asylums" - - sounds like all the talking heads in Irvine are likely candidates.
Yup! We broke that story! Look at how the media picked up on our stuff!
Steve, You were MEANT for this!!! I hope you see it.
This is exactly WHY the United States of America MUST be re-taught the foundations of what Made America Great to begin with. It was not propaganda about demonic diversity, which is only a code word from hell for hell to descend into this nation. That is NOT our fountain NOR shall it be our destiny.
But all must be exposed before the setting right of this nation. The bridle in the horse's mouth is but a small thing. As is the rudder of a large ship. The small thing turns the large thing. And in hindsight, it proves to be the 20 / 20 vision.
The foundation is strong belief in God. Father. Son. Holy Spirit. The c same God who birthed this nation will set us free from these demonic chokeholds.
