The cancel culture is back and this time it came for a socialist Democrat. Joe Biden has been disinvited from speaking to this year’s graduating class at Notre Dame. When it was announced that he would be speaking there, they7started a petition signed by students and faculty, demanding that they should cancel Joe Biden because they are “dismayed by the pro-abortion and anti-religious liberty agenda of President Joe Biden.” The petition got 4,300 signatures.
The petition stated:
“He rejects Church teachings on abortion, marriage, sex and gender and is hostile to religious liberty. He embraces the most pro-abortion and anti-religious liberty public policy program in history. The case against honoring him is immeasurably stronger than it was against honoring President Obama, an action that alienated countless Catholics and brought upon Notre Dame the harsh criticism of 83 cardinals, archbishops and bishops.”
Joe Biden has been portrayed by the press as a devout Catholic but his policies goes against Catholic beliefs.
When he hosted the annual prayer breakfast he used his time to talk politics and did not mention God or Jesus Christ. He does not practice what the lamestream press preaches.
Nancy Pelosi also professes to be Catholic but you can’t tell by her policies.
