6 House Dems broke ranks to reopen the government

    One of those reps, that crossed the aisle, must have discovered his "conscience" - Jared Golden, the dem rep from Maine - announced, last week, that he was NOT going to run for re-election; I believe this has been only his second term.  In his comments, he had nothing "good"  to say about politics in general.

      Probably all six were unlikely to win re-election......therefore disposable! Democrats don't do anything without reason that serves them.

    I would bet they were given permission slips by the party to vote with the republicans.
    They didn't brake with their party......they did as were told. With the democrats it's one for all...and all for one! They move together as if Velcroed and brake away when it furthers their party's agenda, or saves them from a total catastrophe. This time they were sinking so deep they had to stop, it didn't make the six rebels, it made them loyal.

    I would like to believe they finally came to their sense, but I fear they are merely playing politics.  Are they up for re-election in 2026?

      Accidents DO happen! I'd guess their voters are pissed.
