I’ve decided to join the People’s Convoy leaving from Barstow, CA and proceeding to Washington DC. There are other convoys, taking different routes, but that one runs, at one point, within a few miles of my house and I’ll be able to stop in and recharge the batteries, figuratively and literally. The question is why, at my age, with the struggles already presented, would I take on this mission?
First, I’m a writer and while that doesn’t pay for much, it does sustain me at times. Second, I’ve been working to right the ship of state since 1987 when it started taking on water. It took on a lot more with the passage of the Patriot Act in 2001. Since 2008 and the betrayal of George W. Bush at the moment when the banking industry had run the thing aground, I knew it would be a lifelong struggle to regain any semblance of freedom, physical or financial. Since 2020, the full-throated push of communism has literally been an attempt to scuttle the ship of state.
Today, we face the most existential threat, not just in Canada or America, but the whole of the free world. If freedom is to survive it will be through massive human capital being expended on these efforts to reveal the corruption and betrayal of our politicians, here and abroad.
As I mentioned in a previous post, Imprisonment in Place, we are engaged in a world war. The enemy being the globalist caste of the World Economic Forum, that has enlisted like-minded sociopaths holding political positions of vital importance in the free world. These traitors have turned the police and the military on its own people like all other despotic dictators. They used the cover of a medial emergency to activate their police-state tactics during the pandemic and when there wasn’t wholesale riots and rebellion, they were convinced they had won.
This convoy and others are a last-ditch attempt to reach out to the American people, to ask for their overwhelming support for freedom and justice. There must be both. This isn’t just about Biden, who is failing spectacularly on his own, it’s about the others who’ve wormed their ways into positions of power at the state and local level. Governors and mayors, city councilmen and county commissioners have revealed themselves as minor despots in the overarching power structure. They are the ones who’ve imposed the worst sanctions against freedom, who have sent the police out to arrest hairdressers and gym owners and used the tools of civil society as weapons of terrorism. It’s not just Merrick Garland and the FBI that have abused their power and violated their oaths, squandered their integrity and principle to indulge their fantasies of power, but they’ve revealed themselves in the process. The people know who they are. They are, by all rational definition, state-sponsored terrorists.

Under these conditions, these Canadian truckers can’t beat this tyrannical Government. I think a far better way to win against Trudeau is, instead of closing the inter-Provence highways & cities to public travel and taking the heat, just go home, just park it! DO NOT TRANSPORT ANYTHING, which was the idea behind this strike in the first place. Let him own it! This isn’t about vaccine mandates, IT’S ABOUT OUR FREEDOMS WORLD WIDE! WE ARE NOW AT WAR WITH TYRANNICAL GLOBALISM.
IF this is done, the truckers won’t be risking anything, donations to the convoy will go a lot further, no hypothetical laws broken, no huge outlay of cash, no lose of their trucks, no jail time, and will accomplish the same end.
There would be no money lost except for income which they are already losing, and the donations from around the world could easily pay for that. This phenomenon is growing world wide. We don’t want this movement destroyed by out-of-control Socialist Governments like Canada & the U.S.
Btw, most of those trucks are financed at some level by the Bank of Canada and they do NOT want those trucks back!! If these trucks AND truckers are lost because of Government mandates, intervention & overreach, those banks WILL get the trucks back, the Commerce in Canada WILL STOP and Canada WILL GO BANKRUPT, PERIOD!

You have expressed exactly the same thoughts I have and have sent to the editor of our local liberal Democrat backing ragsheet known as a newspaper. So far, my letter has not been published on the Opinions page. I also suggested the truckers then tell the arrogant rich kid dictator True-do-do to rent a truck and deliver the goods himself.
You are correct, if the truckers stop delivering it will hurt the government, but sadly the people as well. I do believe it would be worth it.
