Activists want to disqualify Trump from ballot in key states under 14th Amendment

Two civil rights organizations are launching a campaign to pressure state governments to disqualify former President Trump from appearing on ballots in 2024.

The groups say secretaries of state are empowered by the 14th Amendment to bar Trump from running for office because of the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol insurrection.

Starting Sunday, Mi Familia Vota and Free Speech for People will stage a week of rallies and banner drops outside the offices of the secretaries of state of California, Oregon, Colorado and Georgia.

The groups also penned a letter to Nevada Secretary of State Cisco Aguilar last month, calling on him to block Trump under what’s known as the Insurrectionist Disqualification Clause.

    GET RID OF THE DEMOCRATS IN 2024!
     
    To my knowledge, nothing has been done to change the Demos ability to cheat like they did in 2020, and the sham trial of Hunter proves they have everything under their control.   So, I have no idea if a Republican can ever win again if we play by their rules. That said, I hope that all conservatives will continue to rally around Trump and remember how good and how different the country was when he was president!  I know that Trump made a lot of mistakes.  He was very naive, but he is only human.    What can you expect when he was surrounded by traitors who stabbed him in the back at every opportunity.    He was trying to run an entire county and was relying on the people that he chose to support him!   Unfortunately, they did not support him and instead continually worked to bring him down!   
     
    We really need a leader than can take charge.   Trump had the chance to be that leader, but instead of taking charge when he was still president, still in charge of the military, and had 74 million voters backing him, he bailed and left us hanging.   Now he is dealing from a position of serious weakness, but if everybody continues to support him, he can win again!   He is a real fighter that loves America and if he does win again, I have no doubt that he will be many times tougher and more effective in draining the swamp. 
     
    I think that DeSantis is letting his ego overrule his common sense and love for country by running against Trump!  Thereby dividing the vote to give the Demos a better chance at winning.    He should throw his support behind Trump, because if we lose the election in 2024, we won't ever get another chance!   If we win, then DeSantis would be a shoe in for the next 8 years!
     
    In a December 2020 CBS interview, Obama revealed his preference for a “third term” in which he would be in control in his “basement,” but his lackey would wear an “earpiece” and “deliver the lines” written by Obama. 
     
    Unfortunately for Obama, Biden cannot “deliver the lines” very well, but he sure can follow orders.
     
    If Trump is convicted and sentenced jail, I hope that we will not stand around and let that happen!   We need to take a real stand!

    DEMOCRATS ARE EVIL AND SICK!   GET RID OF THEM IN 2024

    “Did you really think we want those laws observed?" said Dr. Ferris. "We want them to be broken. You'd better get it straight that it's not a bunch of boy scouts you're up against... We're after power and we mean it... There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals.

    I agree with Admn Melony. The Dems know they have zero chance of winning in 2024 and these radical communists are getting desperate. President Trump will win in a landslide, so much so that the demonrats' manipulations won't make a difference. The only challenge is the enemy within. Other GOP candidates and the GOP leadership are fighting President Trump in the primaries. We have to make sure the ballots are counted correctly in the primaries, too. It's not like the swamp is all demonrats, there are plenty of rinos in it.

    The United States of America needs Trump in 24. His abilities have been demonstrated under extreme circumstances so we know he can and very likely will get America back on track. Furthermore we know he is determined to do just that. At this point it seems no other known person has demonstrated they have that ability. Although there are some excellent candidates this time. We need to get America back on track and return the governance of America back to the people where the Constitution declares it is to be. Trumps record proves he has the ability to do just that and that is what he is determined to do. Ron DeSantis, Vivek Ramaswamy and Kari Lake would all be excellent VP’s in preparation for 2028 and 2032. Furthermore it may very well take that long for conservatives to correct the damage these socialist marxist make believe democrats have done to the United States of America.

    Joe Biden at this time is attempting to complete Obama’s promise of a fundamental transformation. Even though Obama did not ever define his promise of a fundamental transformation we can now see it was into a socialist autocratic despotic one party rule dictatorship. Most of the citizens of the US will never accept such a transformation at least peacefully. Consequently if the push for such a transformation continues there will surly be serious push back. The citizens must attempt to avoid such action if it is at all possible. However the 2nd amendment to the U.S. Constitution guarantees Americans the 'right' to keep and bear arms - and it wasn't about 'hunting' or 'personal safety' - it was to protect America and American citizens from a tyrannical and despotic government! Which is exactly what Joe Biden and the far left are attempting to install as this is written.

    The democrats are so afraid of Trump he is all they talk about. His successes during his first term have burned his name into their brain. It is obvious they will do anything, right or wrong legal or illegal, to keep him from running against their candidate next year. They are terrified of him for they know he may very well be unbeatable this time around. They also know they may not be able to generate enough fraud to over come his potential. Even though they claim it is he they prefer to run against that is obviously a lie for if they did they would not be attacking him hoping to somehow get him convicted of something that could keep him off the ballot or get him to quit. Right now however the conservatives are getting the goods on Biden and his crime family which now numbers nine and possibly more in the near future. The walls are finally closing in on the Bidens. Now IRS and FBI whistle blowers are reporting on them. But there is nearly a dozen more whistle blowers ready and willing to tell their story. Now allegedly there are taped recordings of both Joe and Hunter negotiating their influence for bribes. That information, if it turns out to be factual, may very well single the end of the Biden crime family’s political career. Now to top everything else off cocain has been found in the white house. Seems rather obvious whose stash that no doubt was.

    It seems the generalized term,"...,or as an officer of the United States,..." in Section .3 is what these detractors are hanging their hats on. But based on what, heresay?

I'd rather risk my life hanging by a thread, than this assertion. The thread would have more substance. A pell-mell rush for catagorical disqualification to avert the Peoples will in the ballot box is evident. Who is working frantically to keep you and me safe from choosing a Nationally beneficial office holder? Foremost amongst the clear culprits cravenly stands the former Speaker and House Hag, Nancy Pelosi. Having repeatedly failed to disqualify by the impeachment catagory, the 45th President from a future term, her stark dereliction in the Capitols security shows a sinister motive after all. Erecting Camp Biden and garrisoning it with National Guardsmen after the contrived J6 "insurrection", shows purpose in fabricating situational evidence. Outside of assassination, this may be the last bid of the Deep State to fend off an unbuyable patriot statesmen from office. I am certain this latest bid was a planned-for contingency in conspiracy.
