I wonsder how many of these students would be willing to give something back to the country in the way of service to offset the burden they want to put on the Aerican taxpayer? Answer probably none it has never entered their mind. More than likely their midset is ILL TAKE ALL I CAN GET, WHY NOT ITS NOT COSTING THEM THEY THINK BUT EVENTUALLY ITS THEIR TURN TO PAY. with military enlistments down across all branches a two year stint would not hurt them although military service is not for everyone some just cant handle the structure, But there are other means of service, The taxpayers should get something in return, I didnt attend college out of high school i joined the military and went to college on the GI BILL after my enlistment was up. The complete madness of this is that it will only drive tution cost even higher going forward. And it most certainly will not teach these young students anything about taking care of your responsibility and obligations they make in life. The remaining concern I do not believe JOE BIDEN or any president has the legal authority to cancel billions of dollars of debt made by private citizens without congressional approval hopefully the supreme court will agree.
This is not about students... it is about the extremely high cost associated with running universities that OVER PAY Low performing Professors and Administration... This is about keeping funding at or above current levels while student enrolment is taking a nose dive... This is about getting the government to finance Marxist indoctrination centers... called universities... so she can make a 6 figure plus salary.
