While Hamas terrorists are attacking Israel with hundreds of rockets that are forcing Israel to fight back with counter-attacks, Democrats are siding with Palestinians, thereby granting support and legitimacy to the party responsible for the attacks.
Here are the top ten Democrats in Congress who are publicly bucking Israel and supporting Palestine:
Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN)
Rep. Omar is not new to controversy with her viciously Antisemitic sentiments in the past. But the recent violence in the region by Hamas terrorists has brought her to defend Palestinians. She has claimed that the airstrikes coming toward Israel are fine because there is a missile defense system in place while the missiles being shot in defense by Israel are not okay because there is no such missile defense system in place.
Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI)
Reb Tlaib, who has made many Antisemitic statements in the past, in true form, defended Palestine while claiming Israeli lobbyists are “bullying” Americans.
“I am tired of people functioning from a place of fear rather than doing what’s right because of the bullying by pro-Israel lobbyists,” she said. Tlaib dubbed it “apartheid.”
Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT)
Bernie, who is Jewish himself, is standing against Israel, instead, backing the Palestinians that Hamas has infiltrated.
“The United States must speak out strongly against the violence by government-allied Israeli extremists in East Jerusalem and the West Bank, and make clear that the evictions of Palestinian families must not go forward,” wrote Sanders.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA)
Warren wrote on Twitter in support of Palestine, calling alleged displacement of Palestinians, claiming it to be “abhorrent” and “unacceptable,” demanding the Joe Biden regime tell Israel that these evictions are illegal and must stop immediately.
Rep. Pamila Jayapal (D-WA)
Rep. Jayapal signed a letter with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and others branding Israel as “an apartheid state.”
Rep. Betty McCollum (D-MN)
Rep. McCollum also co-signed a letter branding the state of Israel as an “apartheid state.”
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY)
“We stand in solidarity with the Palestinian residents of Sheikh Jarrah in East Jerusalem. Israeli forces are forcing families from their homes during Ramadan and inflicting violence. It is inhumane and the US must show leadership in safeguarding the human rights of Palestinians,” wrote AOC.
Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-TX)
Rep. Castro said the United States “should use that relationship to get Israel [to] stop allowing these forced evictions–endorsing these forced evictions–and as I said, it’s wrong. I don’t believe that should be going on.”
Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD)
“As this makes clear, evictions of families in East Jerusalem would violate international law. If the Biden Administration puts the rule of law and human rights at the heart of its foreign policy, this is not a moment for tepid statements,” said Van Hollen.
Rep. Mark Pocan (D-WI)
Rep. Pocan retweeted Antisemitic Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, alleging that Israel is “murdering” Palestinian children.
