This happens especially over the age of 65. I kid you not, sometimes these lists are over 20 medications long! Especially if we are dealing with people coming from care facilities.
A lot of of the medicines are to treat side effects from the initial medication! Go figure.
I will frequently sit down with patient and family, and significantly DE-ESCALATE these lists (most people are very happy to have things stopped/reduced). And as a doctor, fewer things make me happy than being able to stop unnecessary drugs. In other words: DE-PRESCRIBE.
The list is long in terms of what is over prescribed in certain people— ranging from too many blood pressure pills, antacids, laxatives, antidepressants… and many more… which a person may not even need any more.
America has a massive prescription problem.
The bottom line: If you have an older relative especially— make sure that they do not fall victim to being over-medicated.

It's all done on purpose without care about the devastating side affects, it's money for the pharmaceutical companies.
Why? Because they allow.....our agencies......allow—chemicals, trace elements, of filth, and body altering chemicals, toxins and plastics. And Pharma helps destroy health. Antibiotics affect the EYES. Dr. Ardis has provided proof in mice type that they hope no one reads. Doctors don't, cuz, they don't know. Not looking...
Clean animals, not injected, create clean food. Put it in plastic and it's no longer clean.
low-density polyethylene (LDPE), a flexible, chlorine-free polymer, although some products use polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC) or polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Additives such as plasticizers (e.g., adipates like DEHA), UV-stabilizers, and antioxidants are added to provide cling and flexibility. Chloride is a knokwn human carcinogen linked to liver cancer, brain cancer and lung cancers.
And yet, the agencies WE PAY FOR. Put this life-damagine stuff into our foods and food products.
Plastic wrap alone‚ has Poly-ETHLENE, an alcohol, PolyVINYL-i-DENE, another alcohol, and PolyVINYL-chloride. WHAT could go wrong?
