America is under attack from inimical foreign and domestic forces. Forces bent on forcing a conformity that is diametrically opposed to the Constitutionally protected freedoms our Founders passed on to future generations. Can we do less than to insure those protections of our freedoms are continued? Where do we draw the line?
The attack on the Constitutional protections has been ongoing since the end of the Civil War. It began when the defeated political faction contrived ways to get around the 13th and 14th amendments intended regulations. It raised it's head again in 1913 when the Federal Reserve took over de-facto control of the monetary system. The system the Constitution specifically charged Congress in Art. I, § 8, Cl. 5, to coin money from gold and silver, instead of creating the Federal Reserve (a private bank) to create fiat money.
Note: Congress was never given the specific constitutional right to issue paper money.
The lynch pin of the constitution, even though it is now more symbolic because of the various political manipulations and propaganda, is the 2nd Amendment. The Second Amendment is the teeth of the Constitution, and it is the ongoing symbol of our freedoms. As originally intended, and as it actually was until the NFA was enacted, on June 26, 1934 by the Socialist/Liberal Democrats. Allowed American citizens to legally own and use every weapon in the US Military.
Using those two instances as examples, shows the government, can not be trusted to act our behalf without substantial civilian oversight. Congress has assumed too much power over it's citizens, and became rulers instead of representatives.
Getting back to the liberal gun grabbers. They regularly are in defiance of Supreme Court Decisions, and continue to manufacture ways to sneak around the law. They consistently try to impose restraints on firearm items already declared legal by the Supreme Court.
That same faction has declared war on American citizens who hold a differing political belief than they do.
They plan to prosecute republicans and civilians for supporting a duly elected President. They have even floated plans to flood the Supreme Court with enough Liberal Biased Appointees, to insure they will forever remain in power over the people.
We have seen how they trashed everything Trump created to clean up their mess in his first term. We have even seen how Trump reversed the Biden/Obama agendas. Is anyone naive enough to think Trumps reforms won't be immediately reversed when the Democrats regain control?
Despite all the controversy over a States called Article-V, all the outright lies irrational fear and empty speculations, it is exactly what is needed to block any political or private faction from exercising control over the American Citizens without their express permission. Those opposed to it, and circulate scare tactics against a States called Article-V Convention, are doing so because; When the public realizes the controlling power they actually have under the Constitution, the false concept suggesting our representatives call the shots, will end.
If Americans want to insure reforms are kept, and even expanded, they will need a Constitutional Amendment governing each aspect. Examples; Term Limits, Balanced Budget, Election Reform, Immigration Reform, Spending Accountability, Tax Reform, Judicial Accountability, etc. Congress can make laws on every one of those items, and the Supreme Court can strike down those laws like they did with the Gramm-Ruddman-Hollings balanced budget and emergency deficit act of 1985. Or, the next Congress can repeal them on the whims of the party in control that cycle, instead of the peoples wishes.
It's up to us to take back our Nation, and time to do it is short!
