One-time Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang has announced that he and his family are relocating to Georgia to help Democrats win two races which will determine who controls the US Senate.
“This is our only chance to clear Mitch out of the way and help Joe and Kamala get things done in the next 4 years. More details to come but let’s go!!!” Yang wrote Saturday, referring to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R. Ky).
The fight for control of the Senate continues after two races in the Peach State ended with runoff elections, meaning a second round of elections, when none of the candidates reached 50 percent of the vote, as required by Georgia law.
This means that Sen. Kelly Loeffler, the GOP incumbent, will square off again with Democratic challenger Reverend Raphael Warnock, as will GOP Sen. David Perdue and opponent Jon Ossof
