U.S.A. -(AmmoLand.com)- The liberal, left-wing media in Louisiana is calling basic 2A protections “extremism” and “ridiculous.” Last week, a House committee passed four pro-gun bills to the House Floor where they will be considered for a vote tomorrow. NRA Members and Second Amendment supporters are encouraged to contact State Representatives and ask them to stand with gun owners and the Second Amendment by voting YES on the following bills:
House Bill 746, sponsored by Rep. Ray Garofalo, allows those who lawfully possess a firearm to carry concealed for self-defense during a mandatory evacuation under a declared state of emergency or disaster.
House Bill 781, sponsored by Rep. Blake Miguez, establishes that firearms and ammunition manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, suppliers, and retailers are “Essential Businesses” that shall not be prohibited from conducting business during a declared disaster or emergency. HB 781 further prevents law-abiding gun owners’ rights from being infringed during proclaimed curfews.

Time for every state to rise up and support the second amendment, since some states, like NJ, NY, Cal. etc are excessively restrictive, a federal bill should be passed to over ride those states denying citizens the right to carry, defend ourselves etc. Long overdue especially in view of the progressive socialists trying to give illegals more rights, sanctuary states, letting criminals out of jail (covid19 excuse) and inflicting threats and harm to average citizens.

It baffles me as well. I can only reason that stupidity in most cases and in others it's the concept that the government only can provide some lazy, dumb bastard his basic needs. Since there are no democrats as we knew it.......only these progressive, socialist, marxists, they spew hate, dependency and globalist crap. The radical left has been working on making the population dumbed down for the last 30 years. Teaching progressive concepts, with the PC actions and language (certain words, pronouns are banned), criticism of captialism without political science and economic comparisons. Now the left has devolved into liars, fabricators, theives, traitors. Look at Pelosi, Schumer , Waters, Feinstein.......garbage. Now we have Tlaib, Omar, Cortez that the old lefties fear and try to placate to save their positions. Those three are anti American shills, paid for by the likes of Soros, CAIR and other radical groups. Clinton was a sell out as we saw with his fake foundations, Bush barely contained the left's demonic ideas, and Obama was the height of what a "Manchurian candidate" really is........Obama constantly got a pass because of his race on many issue, ie..Fast and Furious, open borders, sanctuary, Benghazi, bowing to muslims, "I'll be more flexible after the election" to the Russians......and a host of other criminal acts. He had Valerie Jarrett living/working in the white house , who was also a muslim mole. While Sec. Clinton had her muslim mole Abedin in the state dept. Then we have Brennan a white converted muslim running the CIA, which is beyond insanity. Reading Obama's bio.........the brainwashed robots refused to accept that he was a Muslim communist. He did immense damage to the institutions of this country and Trump alone cannot fix it all, especially with Obama/Clinton hacks still infecting the government.

I will not be surprised at all
It's so simple even a blind person can see that the left are thinking the country has been so weakened by the pandemic that they can just slide in behind us and use it as a chance to take away this important right we have. But isn't that what vultures do when they see an injured animal? Don't they swoop down and tear at it? I don't see much difference between a vulture and a Liberal Democrat. We shouldn't have to constantly be voting for bills to protect a right we already have. Are these leftist Liberals spawns of satan?
Actually, I'm convinced lefties at the Soros/Obama level sleep and worship and fornicate daily with satan as a way of life; those at more local levels are brainwashed and twisted and probably think they're enlightened enough to get honorable recognition of some sort; and all the rest are apparently dumb as cows and just as informed.

Sorry... this is a good forum for thoughtful discussion, but i couldn't help ranting a little.
2A's "shall not be infringed" should be clear to even the most uneducated person. Disarmament is the single most important action before "fundamental change" to national socialism which the Left and the globalists need. It was never about "citizen safety". That was mere distracting propaganda. If YOU don't want the Left's "fundamental change" then don't give them the Second Amendment. That is all that stands between our free country and no rights at all.
I've wondered from time to time if we couldn't just give the left what they want. If they want to live without guns, we remove their right to have guns. If they demand higher taxes, then we charge them much higher taxes. If they demand vaccines and free healthcare, we give it to them, but we wouldn't allow any pissin' and moanin' about long waits and crappy medical service. If they want free tuition, fine. They get free tuition, but they'll have to go to the only nothing burger class offered ( they won't even notice).
