One of the greatest characteristics of Americanism is reverence for law and order.

That somber attitude, that trust in our institutions and in established political processes, is what has so often kept America unscathed from the perpetual violence that is the norm in much of the world.

Confidence in our criminal justice system staves off vigilantism. A belief in the legitimacy of our electoral process discourages violent revolution.

But destroy that trust, and everything goes out the window.

And that’s exactly what’s happening in this country right now.

A large segment of the citizenry no longer has faith in our nation’s established institutions — and for good reason.

The evidence of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 presidential race convinced many Americans that our elections are neither fair nor free.

The near-universal restrictions on liberty under the guise of COVID-19 health precautions even in the face of mass popular opposition decimated the notion that our elected officials truly represent the will of the people.

The burning, looting, and murdering that took place in American cities in the wake of George Floyd’s death demonstrated the fragility of law and order, showcasing that the law apparently doesn’t apply to criminals so long as their violence serves the causes approved by the mainstream media and Democrat Party.

The cynicism has only been compounded by the constant stream of arrests of those on the political right, from high-profile figures such as Mike Flynn and Roger Stone to the many Americans locked up in solitary confinement for doing little more than trespassing on January 6. All this while cop killers and destroyers of public property waving the BLM flag or dressed in Antifa black bloc were allowed to walk off crime scenes scot-free.

  • The only things that the Republican politicians do well is wave their arms in feigned outrage, tell us what they are going to do and conclude their communications begging for more money, $25, $50, $100.... Frankly, I’m sick of nothing getting done. It has been eight months with conclsive proof of election fraud and what have they done, NOTHING!  I think that they are all in cahoots with each other with one group wearing blue and the other wearing red.  None of them care about the middle class American. They just want to keep us angry at the other side and ignore their inaction.
