Disturbing information unearthed about Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos and his wife Charlene Nanos that should concern every American following the investigation of the abduction of Nancy Guthrie.
Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos and his wife Charlene Nanos are both extremely liberal Democrats who support open borders, anti-Catholic Democrat politicians.
Chris Nanos has previously filed false information on a number of his campaign contribution forms.
Despite the fact that he has served as Pima County Sheriff since 2015 and been continuously employed in law enforcement for 39 years, Nanos reported on a number of his campaign contribution filing forms that he was retired. Federal and state law mandates that a donor include their occupation and employer on all campaign contribution filings.
Chris Nanos and his wife have both contributed to and supported far-left open borders, anti-Catholic Arizona Democrat Victoria Steele. Steele has voted against the border wall. She is a rabid pro-abortion extremist who has actively been involved in legislation to force Catholic priests to be deemed mandatory reporters if a parisioner confesses to a sexual abuse act during a confessional.
Nanos' wife, Charlene Nanos, has also been very active in Arizona's Democratic Party. In a number of instances Charlene Nanos' campaign contributions filing forms listed her employer as GeoLogic. A deeper review of her employment shows she is a programmer with Raytheon. This would potentially prove very problematic for a liberal Democrat because of the far-left extremist wing of the Democratic Party that relentlessly protests against Raytheon doing business with Israel's military.
What should be very highly concerning to Americans who are focused on the investigation of the Nancy Guthrie's abduction is the appalling lack of consumer data protection at Charlene Nanos' employer GeoLogic.
Between December 21 and 23, 2023, GeoLogics was hacked, and sensitive information was taken. GeoLogics only discovered the leak months later, on October 16, 2024. The company did not let the public know about the data breach until May 5th, 2025.
GeoLogics was responsible for safeguarding highly sensitive information. Instead, the breach exposed the following data, putting 11,948 people at serious risk:
Full Names
Social Security numbers
Passport numbers
Financial account numbers
Driver's license or state identification numbersChris Nanos has a history of ethical problems while serving as the sheriff of Pima County.
Sgt. Aaron Cross, the president of the Pima County Deputies Organization, has twice sued Sheriff Chris Nanos in U.S. District Court and has been highly critical of him for years.
In May 2024, Cross sued Nanos when an internal affairs investigation was launched against him following an interview Cross gave to radio station KVOI. Cross later asked for the case to be dismissed.
Six months later, Cross filed a separate lawsuit alleging that Nanos violated his First Amendment rights when he placed Cross on administrative leave for campaigning for Lt. Heather Lappin while wearing clothing closely resembling a PCSD uniform. That lawsuit is pending.
Cross also accused Nanos of mishandling a December 2022 incident in which a deputy was sexually abused by her sergeant, Ricky Garcia.
Following an investigation, the Arizona Attorney General's Office said the PCSD did nothing criminal while investigating the case but violated its own policies in at least four instances.
Garcia was convicted at trial of two counts of attempted sexual assault and two counts of sexual abuse.
