Again, power misdirected is often worse than having no power... as it does nothing but exacerbate the situation. The GOP power structure is a perfect example of abusive and deliberately misdirected power. The people are fed up with the current GOP Leadership and for the most part, understand just how disingenuous and self-serving the GOP has become. The People dislike the GOP leadership, almost MORE THAN the Marxists in the Democrat Party. At least, the Democrats are consistent and focused on fighting for their cause. That can not be said about the GOP.
It is past time that the GOP leadership become the Party of renewal and reform... time for them to focus their power on activities that are proven to bring about change. It is time to call for decisive action. It is time to call for a national 'strike'. One where the People stay at home in a nationally coordinated strike. A strike coupled with massive demonstrations in every State Capitol and DC, demanding reforms that return the government (Federal and State) to the confines of the US Constitution as originally practiced. It is time to remove those politicians whose idea of change is capitualtion or create fact-finding committees that do nothing but hold more hearings on the long-standing problems we all know exist in government and our society. It is time to limit the terms of elected and appointed officials to ONE TERM... 6yrs, with 1/3rd of the government standing for election and appointment every two years. It is time to rewrite the Federal Judiciary Act and to convene an Article 5 Convention of States to consider Amendments and legislation that Congress needs to pass... or to shut down the government... until the needed reform legislation and Amendments are passed.
Let the GOP leave DC and the halls of Congress until the Democrats wake up... to find an awakened silent majority standing in the doors of reform. Let the GOP deny Congress a quorum to do business, as any business they do can only bring greater harm to our Constitution and heritage as a nation of laws. The destruction of our Constitution and our heritage by the Marxists, Progressives, and Pragmatists will not end until the current leadership in government is stripped of its power and denied ANY AND ALL access to government power and agency. We must think outside of the traditional Box of political action... too, compel government reform, or we will most assuredly go the way of every previous experiment in self-government. The GOP has failed to respond to its base for decades and it will not, as long as its base continues to ELECT and allow the APPOINTMENT of immoral, disingenuous, and deceptive men and women to high office.
For the People to use their power they must first TAKE IT BACK from those they entrusted with it... that starts by ensuring the electoral process reflects the will of the people and not those running their Political Party and their elections. To do that, RADICAL reforms must take place. A National Citizens Strike, coupled with specific petitions and demands for the redress of long known grievances must take place. The People must be prepared to remain on strike and assembled, in every State Capitol and DC, until a RECALL AND TERM LIMITS AMENDMENT IS PASSED AND RATIFIED .. .along with major Judicial Reformes, that return the Courts to their duty as the ADMINISTRATORS of the law.... with juries and the Congress... reinstated as the final arbiters of the Law. We must limit the jurisdiction of the Courts to the CASE BEFORE IT... AND NO OTHERS... If the Court finds the law needs to be corrected, let Congress be put on notice and act... or if Congress fails to act, let the law be administered as written and any injustice corrected case by case. The Court MUST NOT BE ALLOWED to create new law. Stare Decisis and Judicial fiat must end. The Jury System must be restored as both the arbiter of the facts and the law. The Courts and the Law must be returned to their role as SERVANT of the PEOPLE... not their oppressor.
