  • I think Bannons observation carries a lot of sense in it.

    Bi-partisan Senate action only occurs for issues the Democrats want advanced. Otherwise tantrums ensue in declared objections.

    If the Federal Government is in arrest, then the States may take the initiative in otherwise interstate matters that affect them, using the "state of emergency" condition the Constitution mentions.

    But Progressive Socialists vitally need the central government as a vehicle to ride on and abuse for their causes. Faced with the loss of it, I believe they will come to terms or risk a lightning quick cascade of failure. Dilemma, dilemma....what will they do?
