/ Before Tony’s diary, there was the prequel. I'm releasing Fauci's own 465-page historical record of events from 2001 to 2015 — his personal account of building the federal biodefense complex and the classified access that came with it.
/ In 2001, a scientist told Fauci the anthrax mailed to Sen. Daschle was better-engineered than any bioweapon the U.S. had ever built. Days later, the head of Homeland Security said publicly it was "garden-variety." Fauci wrote that someone was "masking the truth."
/ When then Vice President Cheney asked what powers he needed to run biodefense at NIAID, Fauci asked for sole-source contracting, rapid grants, and "DARPA-like powers."
Part of the case: "CIA intelligence that Iraq has smallpox" — the basis for plans to vaccinate 10 million Americans.

/ Even Fauci wasn't buying the CIA's work. After a 2008 Top Secret briefing on drug-and vaccine-resistant anthrax, he wrote the intelligence was "vague, soft and even embarrassingly bad"… the kind he'd sat through "several times before."
/ The 2012 gain-of-function "moratorium" supposedly put in place by the scientists themselves was actually proposed by Fauci himself.
/ An Obama National Security Staffer wanted the National Science Advisory Board for Biosecurity (NSABB) silent on dangerous flu research "BEFORE THE NOV. 6 ELECTION" — Fauci's own capital letters. He wrote he understood and considered canceling the board's meeting outright.
/ This is the prequel to the diary already in The Reading Room- Fauci's own record of what he knew, what he asked for, and what he told the public instead.
/ Read the documents yourself:
