A coalition of Democrat and Republican traitors in the US Senate are teaming up to attack any sense of election integrity in all 50 states.
Democrat Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) are trying to get the Voting Rights Act reauthorized.
The left went nuts when the US Supreme Court shot down parts of the Voting Rights Act that said that certain states in the South couldn’t change election laws without first getting the changes approved by the federal government. The reason the High Court did that was because the southern states are mostly Republican now and are no longer racist like they were when they were run by Democrats. In other words, the federal government no longer has to keep an eye on those states to keep them from discriminating against minorities.
The race merchants will tell you that the Supreme Court did it because there are a bunch of racists on the Court, including Justice Clarence Thomas, but now you know the real reason. The Democrats want those provisions back in the Voting Rights Act because they want to block any election integrity laws like the ones that were just passed in Georgia to be blocked by them at the federal level.
The US Constitution says that state legislatures have the authority to create and change election laws. Because southern states run by Democrats created racist election laws, the federal government stepped in to stop them, a noble cause indeed. The problem is now anti-white racists in the federal and state governments want to block laws created by states that block election fraud. In other words, the Democrats want to cheat in elections.
“Inaction is not an option. Congress must come together – just as we have done time and again – to reaffirm our longstanding bipartisan commitment to free, accessible, and secure elections for all. We urge you to join us in calling for the bipartisan reauthorization of the Voting Rights Act through regular order. We can do this. We must do this,” they wrote in a letter arguing to restore Department of Justice authority even though it is not needed according to the Supreme Court.
“We reflect not just on the positive impact this legislation has had on individual Americans’ ability to exercise their most fundamental right – the right to vote – and the strength of our democracy writ large, but on the important work we still have to do to realize that promise of ensuring the right of all to vote,” the letter continued.
What the letter does not say is that the election integrity laws that are being passed by Republican state legislators and signed into law by their governor are actually protecting everyone’s vote by blocking Democrats from cheating and making people’s votes worthless. I believe the reason they are putting such an effort out on this is that the Democrats do not want anybody mentioning or even thinking about the 2020 election fraud data that so many whistleblowers testified about in legislature hearings.
“Congress last reauthorized the 1965 Voting Rights Act in 2006,” the Hill pointed out. “But the Supreme Court, in 2013, gutted the law when it struck down the formula for determining if state and local governments were required to get Justice Department preclearance for voting and election changes, arguing that it was outdated.”
“Democrats have rallied around the John Lewis Voting Rights Act, which would revive the formula and try to strengthen the 1965 law,” the report added. What they aren’t telling you is they want to use the law to move in the opposite direction and stop Republican states from blocking voter fraud.
“But while previous reauthorizations of the Voting Rights Act have gotten bipartisan support, the bill would likely face challenges getting the votes needed to defeat a filibuster in the Senate,” the report added. “Murkowski was the only GOP co-sponsor for the bill during the previous Congress.”
Joe Manchin already said he will not support the House Democrat’s radical HR-1 that would have the federal government violate the US Constitution by forcing federal election laws on all 50 states. Translation: HR-1 will allow Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer of have the federal government officially sanction election fraud by allowing ballot harvesting, extra drop boxes, and all kinds of other things they used in the 2020 election and in past elections. Maybe Manchin pushing to amend the Voting Rights Act is his penance for coming out against HR-1 to stay in the good graces of the evil one, Chuck Schumer (D-NY).
But the problem here is that amending the Voting Rights Act with the provisions the Democrats want to add will sneak HR-1 provisions in a trojan horse. You need to call your senators and representatives and tell them you are for election integrity and not this scheme to rewrite the Voting Rights Act that will allow the Democrats to control state election laws. They need to go through an Amendment to the Constitution of they want to do that.
