The January 6th protests never threatened the continuity of Government or the peaceful transition of government power ... it was not an act of sedition. Not one member of Congress was injured nor was the government in threat of being overthrown ... The First Amendment provides for free speech, peaceful assembly, and the right to seek redress of our grievances... this includes CONTESTING ELECTION RESULTS... as a grievance.
Of course Joe B. would equate both events..."Jan 6th", we still don't what really happened, the videos are kept away from us, the people involved are not being honest, the police did nothing but abet a coverup, the event is being used to denegrate political opponents, the alledged permetrator(s) are kept in jail without a hearing or trial and last but not least,.. the very people who were supposed to protect the "house/ Capitol" did more to onfuscate and conceal the actual "crimes"...the difference at least four protestors (unarmed) died on January 6th
