Admiral Rachel Levine, the Assistant Secretary for Health and Human Services, pressured an international group of medical professionals to remove minimum age restrictions for transitioning children.
According to internal emails between the experts and Levine they reveal that Levine “asked us to remove them”- referring to age restrictions.
The emails also mentioned Levine’s chief of staff “She wonders if the specific ages can be taken out.”
