True story. Decades ago, visiting my sister, out jogging in a gorgeous neighborhood. Had my dog. Approaching us was an older woman. We stopped and chatted. As she talked about living in that area, she said this. There is no crime here. Only one grocery store. No businesses. No crime. Why? "The head of the mafia lives there." Riverside, IL, about 10 miles SW of Chicago.
