In another strange turn of events, Judge Emmet G. Sullivan has invited Michael Flynn’s former defense counsel to appear as interested parties in their former clients ongoing case. Sullivan, who did not agree to drop the charges against Flynn as requested by the Department of Justice, did not specify the purpose for inviting the former lawyers to appear in court.
Sidney Powell, Flynn’s defense counsel, didn’t comment on Sullivan’s invitation to Covington and Burling but she noted in previous filings reported on this news site that the previous counsel provided her client ineffectual representation and unrepresented him in his guilty plea, which was in violation of his 6th Amendment rights.
This turn of events has been just one in a series of bizarre decisions unleashed on Flynn and his defense team by Sullivan. Critics of Sullivan’s strange behavior have accused the judge of acting as a prosecutor and crossing the line of his judicial mandate.

Forrest, could it be that those who resort to coarse, crude, and even profane language, lies, ad hominem attacks, rank partisanship, and conspiracy theories while disregarding the Constitution, and American and Western Civilization history founded in Judaeo-Christian principles be the reason this and other conservative sites are losing patronage? And I'm not referring to you necessarily.
Could it be the number of far alt-right, Klan sympathizers who support the CSA and the Lost Cause, and Neo-Nazis advocating intolerance, racism, xenophobia, religious intolerance, violence and even murder be a cause? Is calling Patriots to a higher standard browbeating, or is it exhortation? Is expecting Patriots to have a least a modicum of knowledge about the Constitution and basic laws unreasonable? Is even expecting them to have at least some cogent composition ability to much to expect? Is hoping they are at least not be aliterate unfair? It would seem so, regrettably.
This once great country which I defended and which cost me is in such bad shape because "conservatives" like you, Marilyn, Marty, and others are egregiously benighted about the Constitution, the Bible, and American history. You're not the Silent Majority, you're the Abysmally Bigoted Benighted Majority.
That's why liberals, progressives, socialists, and Communists have made such headway into all aspects of American society, politics, and life. To be BLUNT, we deserve what's coming, the real likelihood of Pres. Trump's defeat and a socialist, possibly demented, President with a SOCIALIST Democrat controlled House and Senate who'll end the rule of true constitutional law with an free market capitalist economy under real contract law and institute a socialist welfare nanny one-party tyrannical state.
Yet in your pettiness you want to blame me. How fatally narrow minded and very likely bigoted of you. and it's sad because both you and Marilyn do love this country and are not in the least stupid. Yet, it's you and your type who can not AND will not connect the dots. You lack wisdom, the wisdom that comes from above. This REPUBLIC was based on CLASSICAL Liberalism and the Scriptures. It has rejected both, as it seems you have as well. 2 Chronicles 7:14 is most applicable, but it seems stating that is intolerable and politically incorrect here.
So, will you dare ask the Colonel or administrator Dee about how many really well informed true constitutionalist patriots have abandoned this and other conservative and libertarian sites for the reasons I stated?
