It's the "Emergency Powers Act" (think that is the correct name) brought on by COVID (convenient for the Left) that has allowed the Constitution to be suspended. Americans that want their rights, and I am among them, need to move seriously and dramatically, to stop that ACT!! As for Putin, I am not a Putin fan or a communists supporter. but what has he done that leaders in the USA have not? Haven't we killed thousands of people believing it was/is the lessor of evils? Putin kills adversaries to his power, Haven't American politicians done the same? I am reminded of Michael Corleone's line in the Godfather when he responded to Kate's statement that the gov. was different from the MAFIA because the Gov. doesn't kill people. Michael responded, "Now who is being naive, Kate?" We are often reminded of George Washington, Abe Lincoln, Normandy, and other miraculously courageous acts and missions accomplished. Do the powers that be use those exceptional Americans to convince us of what we WERE or what we ARE? I feel we owe a debt to that history and identity as well as the heroes who accomplished at great personal expense for us and our children the freedoms and liberties we have enjoyed. We NEED to get rid of the EMERGENCY POWERS ACT to save our country, ourselves, the future of the United States of America.
Other than in the Constitution -ARTICLE I, SECTION 9, CLAUSE 2 "The Privilege of the Writ of Habeas Corpus shall not be suspended, unless when in Cases of Rebellion or Invasion the public Safety may require it.", no empowerment is specifically conferred to the Federal Goverment to suspend any part of the Constitution (and would need to define it as so).
Individual civil rights may not be curtailed by states, otherwise chattel slavery could still exist regardless of federal law. So all states signed onto the affirmation of individual rights, freedoms, and liberties upon gaining statehood.
The sole claim to legitimacy in a states assertion of emergency powers has been the obliging consensus by the residents believing it seems reasonable. At this point, do the covidiosy mandates seem reasonable to you? If not, advocate intolerance for their use and observance. IMO
I, like many Americans, have been aware of the NWO for years. I've posted with little response. No one wants to believe it but it is true and in the process of being implemented. Anyone who thinks this will be stopped by political negotiations is dreaming. It's the UN that has been working towards this goal for eons. We are being stripped of ALL our rights up to and including parental and the sovereignty of our own bodies. By design, there's always a reason or a "crisis" that is sold as the cause. The bottom line for me, is that this will NOT be stopped without an actual revolution. And, again the powers that be have all the weapons of destruction, ours.

Valerie, you are absolutely correct and both political parties are controlled by people owned by the nwo. We the People have very few allies in government and even fewer in corporate board rooms!!!!! "Investigations" by the political ruling class are merely dog and pony shows to give the illusion that they will do anything about the corrup[tion at all levels!!!!!!!!!!

Valerie, I don't know how to get rid of the emergency powers act unless we first get rid of the globalist TRAITORS that control both political parties!!!!! They have the "election" process set up to exclude anyone not "in the club". President Trump managed to puncture their bubble and get elected by We the People and both parties conspired to cheat him out of office and are now trying to ensure he never runs again!!!!!!!!!!
I would love to be free of the traitors, and there are so many. I don't know how to get rid of the "emergency powers act' either other than haunt our representatives, those that are not traitors themselves, about it. Trump or someone just like him has to get control of the White House with an administration that supports him. These globalists are very clever but so are Trump and DeSantis, Ron Johnson, Grassley, Gaetes, Majorie Taylor Greene, and there are others. I only know we have to stop just venting about what is happening. Americans must act.

Robert, I too have a DD214, a veteran of the US Army back during the Vietnam War, before Nixon surrendered!!!!! I have never been a democrat but was a working class American as my family has been for generations and my dad was a veteran of WWII, gunner on a B24 stationed in North Africa, Sicily, and Italy. He died in 2006 at the age of 83. I am 72 and disabled from a severe stroke I suffered in 2014 but still kicking against the tyranny being imposed on We the People. God bless you and yours!!!!!
