When politicians are no longer subject to the LIGITIMATE VOTE of the electorate they become seriously compromised... open to bartering deals for favorable election outcomes. No one needs to ]talk the talk or walk the walk' when they have a lock on the ballot boxes of America.
Our electoral system is seriously broken... the people no longer have an exclusive franchise on America's ballots... Election outcomes are now the product of managed elections. The Speaker may have been coached on what he MUST DO or face removal next election cycle. This supposed conservative is breaking all sorts of rules and abandoning the conservative caucus in the GOP... One has to ask Why? What happened to Speaker Johnson to yeild such a radical shift in his politics?
