NEW: I just read the probable cause and have more information on this armed robbery.
At least one of the suspects told detective the 5 are members of the Venezuelan gang Tren De Aragua.
One of the suspects said he was offered 60k for driving. He came from Chicago and stayed the night before at a motel in Beech Grove. He also told police he participated in the heist due to threats against his family. Police say they have video footage backing the claim.
Another sad example that every state is a border state.

Another sad example that every state is a border state.
When members of a designated terrorist cartel like Tren de Aragua can travel from Chicago, commit a brazen gunpoint heist in the heart of Indiana, and then lead police on a multi-county chase, it proves that the consequences of open borders don’t stop at Texas or Arizona. They reach our cities, our businesses, and our families. It also shows immigration issues cross county borders—which is why we need statewide policies and enforcement under the Fairness Act.
We commend IMPD, the Indiana State Police, and the officers from Boone and Clinton counties for their outstanding work. Their rapid response and coordinated pursuit got these dangerous suspects off the street quickly and safely.
Now, let’s get them the hell out of our country for good.
