Yet Mayor Brandon Johnson’s 2026 Budget Recommendation finds over $200 million for “New Arrivals Services,” hidden under an itemized line labeled “Special Events Projects” in the Corporate Fund.
Meanwhile, longtime Chicago taxpayers are being pushed out, priced out, and ignored.
This budget cannot pass.
