We have just filed an ethics complaint with the U.S. House of Representatives' Office of Congressional Ethics against Rep. Dan Crenshaw for threatening the life of journalist @TuckerCarlson.
THREAD 🧵⬇️1/ On February 24, 2025 Representative Crenshaw was quoted in a conversation with @StevenEdginton stating he’d kill journalist Tucker Carlson.
The transcript reads:
Edginton: "Have you ever met Tucker?"
Crenshaw: "We've talked a lot on Twitter... If I ever meet him, I'll f*cking k*ll him."
Crenshaw was given an opportunity by the reporter to clarify if he was kidding or being
hyperbolic.
Edginton: "You’re kidding”
Crenshaw:”No really, he’s the worst fucking person ever.”
