  • I would make it illegal for universities to receive foreign money, I would not give them a cent, let them earn their money by teaching beneficial information, and I would not allow foreign students to study here. We have too many Russian, Chinese, and middle eastern spies and influencers. We don't need half of the universities we have, they aren't producing self sufficient, intelligent, knowledgeable, workforce ready people. 

    • We could bring back exams from earlier decades. That alone would be the proof of how far we have fallen in even acknowledging what information is worthwhile. We had grade school students more knowledgeable than college students. Fact.

      Here's an example of what was considered worthy in 5th Grade:

      Questions such as these were included:

        • Define 'Pronunciation.'
        • Name the mark that shows the stress of syllables.
        • Place the macron, breve, diaeresis where they are needed to indicate the pronunciation of the following words: calmness, idea, abdomen, horizon.

      And—"This SMART Board file has interactive activities that cover all of the fifth grade social studies topics. Material includes: The Civil War, Reconstruction, Turn of the Century, Western Expansion, Inventors, The Spanish-American War, World War I, The Great Depression, The New Deal, World War II, The Cold War, and Civil Rights. The review is done through activities such as: brain drains, Venn diagrams, matching, multiple-choice questions, and sequencing.
       
        
       And—McGuffey's Readers, a popular series of American textbooks, frequently included religious texts, including the Sermon on the Mount. The Sermon on the Mount is a collection of Jesus' teachings found in the Gospel of Matthew (chapters 5, 6, and 7). McGuffey's Readers were widely used in American schools from the mid-19th century to the early 20th century. 
       
      • McGuffey's Readers:
        These were a series of textbooks used in American schools from the 1830s to the 1920s. They emphasized reading and writing skills and included a variety of stories and selections. 
         
      • Religious Content:
        The McGuffey Readers often incorporated religious material, reflecting the values of the time. 
         
      • Sermon on the Mount:
        This is a significant part of the New Testament, found in Matthew 5-7, and contains key teachings of Jesus, according to Wikipedia. 
         
      • Examples in McGuffey's Readers:
        The "Sermon on the Mount" was included among other religious texts and selections in various editions of McGuffey's Readers. For example, the "Third Reader" included "The Sermon on the Mount" along with other biblical selections. 
         
      • Purpose:
        The inclusion of religious texts in McGuffey's Readers was intended to instill moral values and religious principles in young readers.
