Tell us something we didn’t already know. – Every American should take note of the fact that the United States Congress chose to leave Washington D.C. for well over a full month in the midst of the most severe national and global crisis since September 11, 2001.
This represents absolute dereliction of duty on a grand and unprecedented scale.
Congress has basically classified itself as a non-essential entity. But hey, we’ve kind of known that all along, haven’t we?

this is bull crap and isn't they suppose to work for the people, by the people where is it?
No, this is Congress... they take their recesses come hell or high water... whether American's eat or are being evicted their time away is paramount to any other event. This body of elites hold Pro-forma sessions in order to keep the President from making recess appointments... they tell their foolish constituents they are working harder but they hardly ever convene a session before 10:00 AM when they are present and then only a quorum shows up until around noonish or latter. But, they are underpaid at 240K per year plus hundreds of thousands more in allowances and staff funding. I say fire them all ... vote out every incumbent... impose an electoral term limit on their royal gluteus maximus.
