Conservative New Jersey Councilwoman Shot, Killed Outside Home
Wall Street Journal: A New Jersey councilwoman was shot and killed in her car on Wednesday evening, officials said. She was 30 years old. Eunice Dwumfour, a councilwoman in Sayreville, N.J., located about 25 miles southwest of Newark, was identified as the victim. Responding officers found Ms. Dwumfour in her vehicle with several gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead on the scene (Wall Street Journal). Governor Phil Murphy: I am stunned by the news of Sayreville Councilwoman Eunice Dwumfour’s murder last evening in an act of gun violence.
