CONVENTION OF STATES DESPERATELY NEEDED
ONLY WAY TO GET TERM LIMITS AND BALANCED BUDGET
Our founders gave We the People the power to amend the Constitution by calling for a Constitutional Convention. Doing so is difficult but can be done, and MUST be done if We the People have any hope of reeling in an out of control federal government, virtually an oligarchy controlled by Marxists like Nazi war criminal george soros, mark zuckerberg, bill gates, jeff bezos, bill deblasio, and other leftist billionaires/millionaires. The process is already started, with 19 state legislatures having voted to call for a CC. It takes 34 to actually convene a convention and takes 38 states to ratify the results.
I have long supported the concept but have been, and still am, skeptical of success because I expect the tyrants in the devildemocommiecrat party and their co-conspirators in the gop establishment to just ignore We the People and the Constitution as they do currently. Sadly, America has reached the point where politicians, bureaucrats, and judges, controlled by billionaire oligarchs couldn't care less about the Constitution and We the People.
Although I remain suspicious of the tyrants obeying anything We the People pass I want to see it done so it is on the record that citizens acted within the Constitution to "redress our grievances" as stated in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. If the tyrants refuse to abide by a COS then We the People will have unmistakable and undeniable justification to conduct an insurrection or even a revolution to force them to comply. I don't relish the idea of another revolution but we may not have any other option if we desire to live in freedom.
Prior to 1776 citizens began an insurrection against the tyranny of King George III of England because he refused to listen to them. The Boston Tea Party was one aspect of the sedition/insurrection. Another aspect were pamphlets printed by rebels stating their grievances and urging people to openly oppose the king's tyranny. He eventually ordered British soldiers to go out and confiscate guns from the colonists. What most people don't seem to know is that the act of confiscating firearms was the "last straw" and citizen soldiers, the Minutemen, roup and fought the soldiers. The original group that fought on Lexington Green in Massachusetts lost their battle, being outnumbered 40 or so against 750 soldiers but delayed the soldiers enough to mobilize others. The weapons stored at Concord were moved before the detachment of soldiers got there and running gun battles from Concord to Boston killed or wounded more than half of the British. The "shot heard around the world" was the beginning of the Revolutionary War that won our independence from England. Today, in 2023, We the People are living under the same tyranny King George imposed on the colonies.
EVERY gun control law passed is unconstitutional and their plan of confiscation is moving along quietly while We the People are distracted by other problems. Devildemocommiecrats, the Pravda/Goebbels fake news propagandists, and deep state gop establishment hacks openly speak of "mandatory gun buy backs" "for the safety of citizens" but people know what their plan is, the same one implemented by every dictator in the 20th Century. First they get people to register their guns so they know who has what, then they offer money while threatening imprisonment for non-compliance. Once they know where the guns are they will send their Gestapo (fbi) and other heavily armed bureaucrats out to forcefully seize weapons and kill anyone who resists just as the British did in 1776.
Another tactic they are beginning to use is restricting credit card use to not allow people to use credit cards to buy guns, ammunition, o, magazines, or other related equipment. The regime of dementia and the whore, the 3rd term of fuhrer obama, is moving towards implementing a digital monetary system that will ban the use of cash and give the federal government complete control over what can or cannot be purchased, including firearms and related items. Once they get the Central Bank Digital Currency established they won't need to ban gun sales through illegal legislation, they can just ban the sale through restrictions on the use of the digital currency. In addition, they will be able to empty the bank accounts of anyone who refuses to bow to tyranny by going online and deleting funds.
Tyranny is ramping up rapidly under the current regime as they ignore the Constitution and We the People. The arrogance of the political ruling class is completely out of control. They take no notice of citizens who demand the Constitution be followed. Their persecution of President Trump (still my president) under false accusations while ignoring very clear TREASONOUS actions by the dementia regime, money laundering, influence peddling, and selling American technology and secrets to our enemies, China, Russia, and Iran for personal financial gain. What they are doing is disgusting and infuriating. I have the military training and experience to be a major problem to them but am old and very disabled from a stroke I had in 2014 and barely able to walk while not being able to fire a rifle due to paralysis of my left arm. I am not even mobile enough to be able to train younger people to fight so can't really be any more helpful than to warn people about what is happening to their liberty. Articles like this one are my way of being a "Paul Revere", hoping lots of people will read, understand, and begin to openly oppose government tyranny.
America needs a serious change of direction before the current decline in moral and ethical standards totally destroys what is left of the nation given to us and preserved by millions of men and women, including myself, who went to war to keep America free. The current illegitimate regime is hell bent on destroying America so their long lusted for one world global government (dictatorship) can be implemented. Whether a Convention of States will solve our problems remains to be seen but I believe must at least be attempted. If a COS doesn't solve the problem then our only recources are to bow to tyranny or fight for liberty. I pray daily that a Revolutionary War will not be necessary because the death toll would be tremendous and the destruction of infrastructure just as bad but I WILL NOT bow to tyrants. I prefer Patrick Henry's attitude, "give me liberty or give me death". I also live by Dr. Martin Luther King's admonition to "judge people by the content of their character not the color of their skin".
