A man in that chair can shape threat assessments, slow-walk intelligence, feed information to sympathetic lawmakers, and quietly suffocate a war effort from the inside without leaving fingerprints. Joe Kent in that chair was worth more to the opposition than a thousand Tucker Carlson monologues.

You do not pull an asset like that and detonate him on social media unless the inside game is already dead.

That is the absolute ceiling. There is no bigger payload in the arsenal of psychological warfare against a sitting president. Nothing above it exists.
