The lawsuit, filed in federal court on Wednesday, complained Ms. Bowser’s move, as well as her decision to rename a nearby street “Black Lives Matter Plaza,” came at the taxpayers’ expense but showed a preference for one faith — or belief — over others.
The main argument in the 51-page complaint filed at the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia is that Ms. Bowser is violating the Establishment Clause of the U.S. Constitution by supporting one orthodoxy over others.
“The Black Lives Matter banner conveys that black people are the favored race of the city of DC, which is of course a racist contention floated by a racist Democrat who persistently refuses to think logically,” the lawsuit said.

Filing suite will not hold those individuals who created the problem accountable... in fact, quite the opposite. The costs to defend the suit and any potential settlement expense will be paid by tax-payers not the government agents that created the problem which brought on the lawsuit. It is time to repeal government employees immunity when gross negligence or criminal conduct are the underlying cause for filing the suit.
I think this racist bi-ch needs to be recalled after she pays for the removal out of her salary! At the very least painting over a large area of pavement makes it slicker in rain or icy conditions and creates a danger to both motorists and pedestrians as well as being a blatantly racist promotion.
