Update: Day 6 has now come without a judge being assigned to either the first, or now, the second case involving the DOJ v. California. DOJ filed for, and is now asking for a TRO in order to not allow counting of any ballots from the 20,000 names on the list that were sent to the SOS and LA County Election Officials. Those names have been determined by DOJ to "likely" be non-citizens who have already received ballots in the upcoming General Election. Over 150 arrests have been made of non citizens who have voted in past elections, or otherwise lied about their Citizenship status in order to Register to vote in California / Federal elections.
