Um, I hate to break it to you, but you just voted to give President Trump unilateral power to lift and/or impose sanctions related to Russia. HR5334, the Lindsey Graham Russian Sanctions Bill https://t.co/BPseqPrShz

HR5334, signed into law in September 2026 as the Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act, requires mandatory sanctions on Russian officials and entities, imposes up to 500% tariffs on Russian goods, and authorizes up to 100% tariffs on imports from the top five buyers of Russian oil or gas or sanctions evaders.
The bill provides the president with waiver and termination powers for these measures based on national interest determinations, along with reporting to Congress, expanding executive flexibility in U.S. policy toward Russia following bipartisan passage.
