If you would want to create a Design for Failure, the first thing you would do is not evacuate your US Citizens and their Afghani Translators and Collaborators first. Then you take the fuel and support the Afghani Military needed to fight back. Then you would sacrifice your protecting air support by abandoning Bagram Air Base. And lastly, as the coup de gras, you would make sure you left your most valuable high technology, aircraft, vehicles, and weapons for the enemy. The frosting on the cake would be handing the Taliban the names of all the Americans and supporting Afghanis. Can you think of anything else?

When you look at the chain of events, how does one say this whole debacle was not intentional? Only a very ill-informed or limited capacity person could not recognize this was a pre-planned Design for Failure!
