How can they get away with this... the Federal Policing Agents are ALL CORRUPT... this sort of lawless conduct aiding and abetting illegal entry should never happen. The Federal authorities responsible for policing the border and illegal entry are violating the law... they are not simply following orders they are conspiring with the Globalist and Marxist cabal to change the demographics in America from a productive Western economy into a dependent third-world sewer.
If we ever regain control of our government... all of the criminal elements within the federal agencies need to be prosecuted, or at a minimum terminated without retirement ASAP.

Close the border to all crossings except for commercial traffic... Keep the Southern Border Closed to all but commercial traffic until the government (Federal, State, and Local) have REMOVED the tens of millions of illegal aliens allowed to enter illegally. Pass the needed laws to allow States to assist in the round-up and immediate deportation of all illegal aliens found in the USA.
Indict senior government officials for illegal alien trafficking, drug trafficking, operating a criminal enterprise under the RICO statutes, and a host of other crimes that apply... up to and including treason. It is past time to demand accountability at the highest levels of government... the criminals are running the asylum and must be put down promptly and permanently.
