This meme looks good, but means very little. Sure the veterans who can still hump the boonies, will be able to do hit and run attacks against an invading army, and fight alongside the Regular Military. However the majority of gun owners are not trained anymore like we were in the 1940's and 1950's.
Back then America was geared to self defense and protecting America at all costs. We correctly believed in ourselves and our values. That was just what society was. The hard left and communist influence that was being infiltrated here in the 1920's by Lenin and Stalin had not yet taken deep root.
America had things to be proud of back then before the perverted left destroyed them through corrupt courts, self centered politicians, and misbegotten entertainers, who in my opinion cherished money and power over patriotism and Honor.
Even though I lived through that era, I really don't know when all that broke down into the America hating politicians, woke news media, and perverted entertainment industry. Could it have been that all three were subtly infiltrated over the decades between the 1920's and the final straw being the Vietnam controversy?
I'm quite aware of Vietnam and how our best and most patriotic served, and how the media tore down those who supported America and supplanted them with whining naysayers who eventually made people believe what was good was actually bad and what was bad was actually good. The original schism that started with Vietnam and has continued through to today without abatement.
We had structured rifle teams in many schools who were supplied by the Director of civilian marksmanship, and trained by certified NRA instructors. Those classes and the values they instilled went a long ways toward what the meme implies. Unfortunately we no longer have that unifying force and belief system.
I believe the best we could do today would be basically the system the Viet Cong used against us. However that would also fail in time, because there would be no one on the outside of the United States who would come to our aid.
America would not be here if France did not side with us during the Revolution. Ask yourself this; ,Who would want to side with us now, and who would want to exploit us and our resources for their financial benefit?
We need to seriously re-evaluate our national readiness to react to any attack. We aren't even handling domestic disasters like we once did. Look at the politicking over helping North Carolina and California during their disasters. Dom you seriously think America would unite against a common enemy, or would many who have been brainwashed to think Socialism, Fascism, or Communism is preferable to Freedom and Capitalism?
We are on the brink and no one seems to want to stop it. No one seems to realize their self centered greed and short sightedness will be their own downfall.
We need to get back to the public values we projected in the 1950's, and apply them, to all AMERICAN CITIZENS equally. We need to reevaluate race relations and actually start treating people equally; that means a standard applied equally to everyone and requiring everyone to meet that standard. It means setting [public conduct standards everyone will be required to meet. It means setting education standards everyone will be required to meet. It means setting legal standards everyone including congress, state/local governments, and all politicians are required to meet. It means setting accountability standards both governments and Citizens are required to meet.
We really need to end the bleeding heart liberal crap, and replace it with logical and realistic compassion using real world standards, where charity begins at home to take care of OUR CITIZENS first. Start giving a hand up, instead of hand outs. We also need to get back to our belief in God and the guiding tenets of the Ten Commandments. Those Ten Commandments taken as literal instead of religiously guidelines are the most compact basic set of rules for a working and fully functioning society ever written.
I would like to hear comments and suggestions on this.
