But no, the geniuses who run SVRS record a vote when you have successfully checked into the poll book. Yes, you read that correctly.
Thats why someone can check into the poll book, then for whatever reason walk away without scanning your ballot (maybe the line is too long) and you would still be recorded as “voting by machine “ in the system.
Don’t believe me, write your local NJ board election officials.
This is why a reconciliation of physical ballots cast to actual unique voters who cast a ballot in person is an essential control that no one in our state does before they certify an election.
We need change badly. The SVRS is garbage and the data is garbage.
