Last week’s $1.7-trillion, 4,155-page omnibus bill, which funds our government through September 30, 2023, includes plans for a “Ukrainian Independence Park” in Washington, D.C. The park’s alleged purpose is to inform Americans about “the solidarity between the people of Ukraine and the United States.”
Located under “Title VII - Commemorative Works and National Memorials,” of the Omnibus bill is Section 710, “Designation of Ukrainian Independence Park.”
The legislation allocates a 0.35 acre plot in the District of Columbia to serve as the new “Ukrainian Independence Park.”
The bill allows for “signs” to be added to the park “that include information on the importance of the independence, freedom, and sovereignty of Ukraine and the solidarity between the people of Ukraine and the United States.”

The Marxist work to erase the target country's past... through the rewriting of its history, including the toppling of its former monuments, and the essential historical record linking it to the past... its heritage, heroes, and history... Replacing the past with a Marxist model complete with new monuments and heroes for our children to idolize and emulate...

Does this really surprise ANYONE on this site about the flagrant abuse and lawlessness in NOT following our Constitution? Isn't that a bit premature? It isn't over yet, we don't know the outcome until it's over, and the question remains.......will there be an independent Ukrain? Not if it's up to Putin!
Anyone familiar with the shared history between Russia and Ukraine understands... that Puti, the Russian People, and many of the Ukrainians consider themselves part of a greater Russian empire, reaching back to Catherine the Great. Russia will not stop until Ukraine is solidly in its grip... Look for Belarus (Belorussia), Georgia, and Crimea to be included in Putin's reach to restore the Greater Russian Empire.
Does anyone study history anymore? If we refuse the lessons history has for us we are doomed to repeat past failures and conflicts... We must master our shortcomings and the lessons of history in order to create a sustainable system to keep the peace among nations... or suffer from repeating our past mistakes over and over.

It is time for our Federal Government to stop violating the US Constitution... return all of the unauthorized properties parks, monuments, wilderness zones, etc., to the several states... where they are located. Let the State's legislatures decide what if anything they should do with such STATE PROPERTY. The following paragraph was extracted from Article 1 of the US Constitution... any law or supreme court finding that is contrary to this clause is VOID... PERIOD. Amend the constitution if we want the Federal Government to get involved in using State Property for liberal boondoggles.

The Federal Government is not to manage or hold property other than that which is annexed by Congress as a TERRITORY (not a state) and those building and lands needed as authorized in Article 1, Section 8, clause 17 ... as shown above.
