Some 54 scientists have resigned or been fired as a result of an ongoing investigation by the National Institutes of Health into the failure of NIH grantees to disclose financial ties to foreign governments. In 93% of those cases, the hidden funding came from a Chinese institution.
The new numbers come from Michael Lauer, NIH’s head of extramural research. Lauer had previously provided some information on the scope of NIH’s investigation, which had targeted 189 scientists at 87 institutions. But his presentation today to a senior advisory panel offered by far the most detailed breakout of an effort NIH launched in August 2018 that has roiled the U.S. biomedical community, and resulted in criminal charges against some prominent researchers, including Charles Lieber, chair of Harvard University’s department of chemistry and chemical biology.
“It’s not what we had hoped, and it’s not a fun task,” NIH Director Francis Collins said in characterizing the ongoing investigation. He called the data “sobering.”
In the vast majority of cases, Lauer reported, the person being investigated has been an Asian man in his 50s. Some three-quarters of those under investigation had active NIH grants, and nearly half had at least two grants. The 285 active grants totaled $164 million.

I have no doubt he will succeed. He succeeds in anything he touches. Look how he fixed the economy and the budget. Remember the huge deficits Obama ran up?

This is what happens when you have entire sectors of our society embracing Marxism and ejecting God from the public forum... godless men and women are running our Nation. Don't be fooled by those claiming to be Christian, examine their works and lives, is the fruit of the Spirit present, and do they acknowledge God's law as the supreme law ... without caveats. God's laws must be applied to all of the People in our Nation... and yes, even those who are atheist or agnostic. We don't rewrite the law to permit sin ... gross sin ... too reign and rule in the land... not without serious consequences.
The Judeo/Christian ethic must reign supreme in our culture and the Law... if we are to reap God's blessings. There is no compromise with the Word of God... no bi-partisanship between the Devil and God. One cannot serve two Masters/Ideologies... they will hate one and hold to the other. We must decide as a People to reinstate God in our Courts, Congress and the Administration of our Government ... until we do look for a continued series of misfortunes to occur in our once Great Nation.
Examine scripture ... and you will find that every time Israel left their God... the nation suffered horribly at the hand of her enemies. We are no different. Our future is not in the hands of Pres. Trump... it is in the hands of God and the People... who must choose to serve God or Mammon (the world). Know this we reap what we sow... we must repent and ask God's forgiveness as a Nation ... inviting Him to once more reign supreme in our Hearts and Government.
Firing and resignations are not enough... they need to be prosecuted for criminal conduct... everything from espionage to bribery should be working its way through the Federal Courts. Dr. Fauci and Dr. Brix have some very, very dubious relationships with China and Big Pharma... reports of Fauci filing patents and establishing partnerships that provide him with financial rewards for government influence and privilege. Fauci is probably the biggest abuser in the CDC and needs to be fired and indicted now not later.
There is a pattern developing whereby government employees are caught violating the law and the only thing that happens is that they are fired or allowed to retiree... often keeping their retirement benefits. That is not accountability and it must stop... firing a Federal Employee for violating the law and forgoing criminal prosecution must stop. Failure to prosecute crime leads to more crime.
