I'm not entirely sure what backroom deal this James Fishback guy (@j_fishback) cut to launch his Governor bid, but this sure isn't organic.

A couple of weeks after that, he was relentlessly badgering me to lobby the President for a Fed board seat, despite zero relevant experience. The President obviously rejected him and went in a different direction. (Perhaps that’s why he is now working against Trump?)
I always saw him as a decent guy, until yesterday when he pulled a sleazy stunt by feeding Politico lies about a private conversation that we had. I never once discouraged his run, in fact, I couldn't care less. He's just wasting time and resources.
Now he's also posing as an anti-H1B crusader because it's trending on X. For the record, I'm no H1B fan either; I'd love to see them scrapped. But James has never cared about this issue, The first time he ever tweeted about the issue was on September 5th. Lmao. He’s just chasing clout on right-wing X. Nearly every portfolio company in his ETF relies on H1Bs. He’s a total hypocrite and he has never pushed DeSantis to ban them in Florida, yet here he is twisting Byron's words and distorting his stances out of context.
This is my one and only post on this guy. I'm only responding because he flat-out lied about our conversation. I’m disappointed. Thought he was my friend. Guess not. Oh well!
