what is the Law of the Land either it is man law or God Law which one is it? if it is man law it's going to fumble it is God:s law it shall stand and God's law is perfect converting the soul.
The Law of the Land in the USA is the Constitution of the United States of America. The USA is not a theocracy nor did the Framers imagine it as such. But they did found the country on the basis of Western Civilization and CLASSICAL Liberal thought founded in Judao-Christian thought. As they said, the form of governance they established was only possible for an educated and MORAL people.
As in Romans 13:1-7 it states; Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God [granted by His permission and sanction], and those which exist have been put in place by God. 2 Therefore whoever [a]resists [governmental] authority resists the ordinance of God. And those who have resisted it will bring judgment (civil penalty) on themselves. 3 For [civil] authorities are not a source of fear for [people of] good behavior, but for [those who do] evil. Do you want to be unafraid of authority? Do what is good and you will receive approval and commendation. 4 For he is God’s servant to you for good. But if you do wrong, [you should] be afraid; for he does not carry the [executioner’s] sword for nothing. He is God’s servant, an avenger who brings punishment on the wrongdoer. 5 Therefore one must be subject [to civil authorities], not only to escape the punishment [that comes with wrongdoing], but also as a matter of principle [knowing what is right before God]. 6 For this same reason you pay taxes, for civil authorities are God’s servants, devoting themselves to governance. 7 Pay to all what is due: tax to whom tax is due, customs to whom customs, respect to whom respect, honor to whom honor. Remember, in Act 4:18-21 when Peter and John were told to stop preaching the Gospel by governmental authority, they refused as it contradicted God's law. It applies to day in the USA or any other country. Of course the Sanhedrein wanted to punish Peter and John, but they dared not to. But in some countries today it could cost one one's life. In the USA it can get you fined and thrown in jail.

Excuse me, Lynn... Martial Law doesn't replace the government... it assumes the duties of federal law enforcement and the Judiciary... Congress remains intact, as do all the Administrations Departments... Martial law is used to keep order until the law enforcement agencies and the courts can resume their functions. You are simply misinformed.
Quite CORRECT. It's meant to keep constitutional government running when certain sectiona or areas fail.
The exact purpose of our 2nd Amendment, to protect the Citizens from their own Government. I really suggest reading the "Charges" which accompany and validate our Declaration of Independence.

Given a choice between Civil War and Martial Law... which would you choose? Hands down I would choose Martial Law... tailored and limited to the reform of our Judicial and Law Enforcement systems of justice.
