Congress has complete jurisdiction to rule the District... they can appoint the police, prosecutors, judges, police chief, Mayor, and other key members of any District council it crreates. End local rule and disband the creorganinze the judicary and prosecutors offices... The Congressional reorganizing of the District's government it doesn't take the President to sign off.
The power given to Congress by the Constitution as soverign over the District puts Congress in charge of the government and its agents in DC... Congress can appoint prosecutors, police chiefs and supervisors, the Mayor, and any District Counsel and Court system.
"We are now living in a third world country"?? NO, we are now living under a communist hunta!! If the DC court does convict (in all probability) President Trump, this will wind up at the SCOTUS - I can almost see John Robert's calling an emergency session! Has that ever been done by the black robed nine before??
The rule of law in this country is no more. We must organize and stand up against their tyranny! What are we going to do if they actually throw him in jail? How much do we put up with?
I am considring going to Freedom Corner in DC but it will be a long trip for me and I have heard that some people at Freedom corner are not very friendly. But they are there and they have a space. So far that is more than anyone else has.

Hate to say it but we are beating a dead horse, America as we knew it is done.
I am scared for our nation. What do we do if Trump is jailed without bail before trial? He would not be able to hold rally's.

I do not know! If someone suggests "Storming the Basteel" to free MAGA prisoners I think it will be a Fed Op.
