I don't really trust Taylor Greene ever since she supported McCarthy. She didn't even vote to have McCarthy removed two weeks ago. I think she learned to play us with her words but her actions and votes tell a different story.
ep, and remember that these anti-US "Squad members" were elected with the support of many other anti-US immigrants who came from many of the same places where civil order and peace have not been maintained for generations. Western Europe is experiencing the same cultural chaos today, and it has come to threaten our constitutional republic as well, but only if we allow it by our own inaction. Vote and pray as if your life depended upon it, because it does.
I agree. They certainly work against the U.S. and against democracy. They support tyranny. (They also support themselves.)

John, I agree with you except that the US is a Republic not a democracy. Anyway, these anti-american "politicians" should be tried for treason and punished accordingly. We cannot let them destroy our republic, our freedom and liberties.
Paul, I know that the U.S. is a Republic which I believe is the best form of government. Both a Republic and a Democracy are governed by the people which is what I was alluding to - that too many members of our government prefer a tyrannical system of government rather than a government ruled by the people.
Our Founding Fathers established a government that was ruled by its citizens, using the concepts of Democracy from the ancient Greeks and Republic from the early Roman Empire, to install freedoms and rule to all citizens of our Country. (In a Democracy, government is ruled by the majority of citizens. In a Republic, each individual has an equal vote in ruling the government.)

Agree with this synopsis on our constitutional republic, but the principles of self-governance are ultimately based upon a society where each individual will do the right thing even when no one is watching using their own free will and God-given rights. We must answer to a higher authority than man's law, or we perish for lack of that knowledge and wisdom.
Rick, that's right. The big problem in the US of 2023 is that there are so many people who follow a misguided religion, even a misguided Christianity, or no religion at all. So, the big challenge is this. How do we get people on the right religious path so that they can participate in public discourse as it was intended by our Founders?
This is an age-old issue Paul, and "religion" is really a way to describe and demonstrate one's worldview with respect to both the spiritual and material realms. And it is mostly revealed to any observer by their behaviors toward others in the material realm. Those who claim to be of no so-called "religion" are obvious inhabitants of the material, but seem to be ignorant of or refuse to believe the irrefutable fact that the spiritual world even exists in the unseen realm. The Great Commission to make disciples of all nations has not been rescinded by Our Lord, and we have the obligation as Christians to spread His message of the Gospel everywhere and always, even if it takes words. The passage in Luke 9:46-50 is instructive in that those who embrace any of the tenets of Christianity are more likely to be among those who are for us, rather than against us. And your observation that participation in a free and open public discourse is right on target, as it is the Biblical foundation upon which our constitutional freedom of speech and association are based.
The Doctrine Of Lesser Magistrates" written by a pastor could effectively steer anyone toward the Correct, (as it was written), Biblical path. Several different "denominations" have twisted the message to suit them. These "half truths", twisted truths and downright lies have worked their way into our civic lives.
