It is sad but Duncan and his crony crew did demote the three Senators who tried to do their job for Georgians. None are chairs as I could find out. Matt Brass got moved to the Banking committee, Burt Jones is supposed not on a committee, and I could not reach Brandon Beach for clarification of his position. The House has formed a committee, Election Integrity lead by chair Barry Fleming of Augusta, 404-656-5105. I've reviewed bills they have currently been assigned such as "Same day registration and voting", "Being able to vote in any precinct in the county of your registration", and more. It's a white wash. The senate is supposedly forming a committee, but why, they already have all the testimony, video, etc. collected by those who were demoted. If the legislature had any guts, they would censure Kemp, Duncan, Raffensperger, and Carr. My senator, Bill Cowsert is part of the Duncan group...a fact I will not forget nor let others.

Besides mail in ballots and drop boxes, the biggest problems are the Dominion machines/software and lack of prosecution of those caught on videos performing illegal acts. I guess I fail to see how IDs for absentee ballot apps will help. ID is an in person thing. Remember, China was caught trying to send boat loads of IDs to the US and for what purpose? Absentee ballots need to be returned to their original purpose: out of country military and diplomatic employees. Being too lazy to go vote is NOT a valid reason. And yes, my reps say election problems are top priorities for them as well. But I know they will cave and move on due to running out of time, not wanting to seem unwilling to compromise, etc. The list of excuses is endless. I'm simply telling my reps, stand up or lose my support and I will remember to remind others should they have the misguided goal of ever running for office again. It's not just about Georgia election reform, it's about the state leadership contributing to destroying the USA. Personally, the USA - my country, is far more important than the state of Georgia.

While this does not acknowledge the proverbial elephant in the room - mail in ballots and drop boxes - at least it is a start.
I think we need to start writing letters and demanding they really get serious about these election issues. Senator Dugan - Republican Majority Leader and also my Senator - has said that election problems are one of his top priorities this term. But I know the first thing they HAVE to work on, by Law and by the GA STate Constitution, is to get a Balanced Budget to the Governor.
