  • As we continue to blame our ineffective Republican politicians, let's remember that we citizens voted them into office.  Most individuals running for office are poorly vetted.  Citizens seem too lazy to learn who a candidate really is and what political views they hold.  So, we reap what we sow.  As Forrest Gump might say:  "People are like a box of chocolates.  You have to bite off a bit to know if you would like the whole piece."  If we take greater responsibility in vetting candidates for office and then monitor their voting records, we would better know if that is one to keep or to get rid of.

    • Yep, and like the old adage goes; " All good government is local". Many citizens are beginning to realize that the Washington DC swamp is populated with local politicians who should have never been elected to city council, county commissioner or mayor, much less governor or senator in the first place. That's why citizen activism in local/state clubs and organizations is so important to the process of vetting those who will act on our behalf. Power corrupts, and We the People are the only ones who can assess the ability of a candidate to resist that nearly overwhelming temptation. And we shouldn't only listen to what they say, but watch carefully what they do when forming the local/state political alliances that may lead to higher office. Prayer, principles and ethical behavior matter, and we shall know them by what they do and the company that they keep.

  • It’s about time someone from the GOP in Georgia stepped up to make this sick broad accountable. I was beginning to think the entire state was infested with RINOs.

  • Yep, the only way to starve the beast of a tyrannical and authoritarian government is to deny it funding to operate. We the People ARE the government and should not tolerate unconstitutional, political warfare by the very people who are paid and obligated to follow our Constitution faithfully. Totalitarian government relies upon both force and fear to enforce its dictates, but we are not afraid of and will not comply with tyrants.
